After unfolding Galaxy 8 to the world and its Infinity Display, last year only Samsung had welcomed the revolution of minimal bezel. Now with time that design is taking new direction with more Samsung smartphones.
Today Samsung officially talked about Samsung Galaxy A8+ and Galaxy A8 of 2018, the two brand new smartphones that embrace the design of Infinity Display for minimizing the bezels whilst propelling in a pair of front cameras just for that extra showcase.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) comes with a Super AMOLED 5.6’’ display having an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 similar to that of Galaxy S8, and a 2220 x 1080 resolution. Underneath the hood there’s 4GB of RAM, an Octa-core processor, 32GB/64GB built-in storage space, one micro SD card slot for expandable storage space, NFC, and 3000mAh battery.
On the other hand the Galaxy A8+(2018) features a Super AMOLED 6inch display, having same aspect ratio and resolution similar to the Galaxy A8. It also comes with the same processor, only it offers a RAM of 4GB/6GB, 64GB/32GB in-built storage space, 3500mAh battery, and a micro SD card slot for expandable storage.
If talking about the basic features that both these devices share, then you’ll see a pair of secondary camera on both of them; one of which is 8 megapixels and the other comes with 16-megapixel shooter with an aperture of f/1.9. Both the smartphones also feature a 16 megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture having a phase detection auto-focus.
If completing with the features list then Samsung Pay, USB-type c for charging purpose, Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and there’s one fingerprint sensor at the back, which is place just below the camera and not beside it.
Samsung has also confirmed that both the Galaxy A8+ (2018) and Galaxy A8 (2018) will be releasing in some early time of next month that’s January 2018. Though there’s no still no exact date of release about it. Also there’s no news on the pricing of both these new devices.
