If you’re still wrapping your head around the disappointment of spinoff of Valkyria, then there’s something now that might sound a good thing to you. Now it’s on the new that Valkyria is happening again and this time it’s the Valkyria Chronicles 4, which is coming to Xbox, Switch, and PS4 in 2018. Well you don’t’ need to bother as the Sega confirms that it’s coming in Europe and North America as well.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 like its precursor will be set within a fictional mangle of the Europe whilst World War II takes place, mixing third-person shooting, and strategy of turn-based when you guide a soldier from each battle to other. This Valkyria Chronicle 4 happens at the same time-interval when the actual Valkyria Chronicles happened. But this game focuses on a totally new aspect of casting main characters, as said by the Sega in a press release.

Further it was also said; that the players will be taking command of the young and eager Commander Claude Wallace, Riley Miller-the heavy weapons extraordinaire/engineer, ice-cold ace sniper-Kai Schulen, Darscen Raz-the hot-headed, and much more. They all will experience the bitter and painful realities of War together. The only thing is to see whether the friendship of the bonds of Squad E be able to survive the frozen battlefield.

Sega also says that Hitishi Sakimoto, the Legendary Composer will also be returning to the Valkyria Chronicles 4.

Nearly over a decade now, this looks like going to be the first proper game of the series. The first Valkyria Chronicle was released by Sega back in 2008 for PS3 platform, along with a sequel that followed in 2010 on PSP. In 2011, the third Valkyria Chronicles was out in Japan for PSP but never made it to the English field. But this time Sega isn’t keeping gamers into any suspense.
