Razer is making its mark into the gaming world with its brilliant tech innovations and this time it unfolded a mechanical keyboard for gaming that might just save you from spilling your drinks or coffee into it whilst playing. The latest and ultimate Black-Widow gaming keyboard by Razer is dust and water resistant with a rating of IP54, as said by the company.
In the standard grandeur of gaming accessories, the green backlit LED keys also have lighting effects such as; starlight, ripple, waves, and much more that can customized by gamers. The keyboard is believed to have a keystroke lifespan of 80 million and uses the Razer green Switches that have an actuation force for some great solid clicking of 50 grams. If you are into on-the- fly macro recording then you can also program the keys accordingly.
The keyboard is ideal for those who have narrow desk arrangement for gaming; this Black-Widow will then just fit perfectly for them. It comes with a dimension of (7.98 x 6.02 x 2.36) inch and weighs slightly less than a pound if taken into account the table. Having mentioned that Razer has a lot of gaming keyboards, this Black-Widow is the most buoyant of all. The Razer Co-founder said that it had never stopped in enhancing their gaming keyboards.
Just the correct time when the preseason refresh of League of Legend and some substantial discounts of Black Friday on gaming, the Black-Widow by Razer is now available on the website of the company and will also be out worldwide by December. The price of it is $109.99 and in EU its €119.99.
Make a note here, Corsair also manufactures a mechanical keyboard that’s snack proof and uses Red Switches of Cheery MX. The K68 of Corsair has IP32 rating, red backlit LEDs, and price is $99.99. This means that since its bit cheaper then it’s not that much dust resistant as the one by Razer and it also doesn’t have some resistance level for water. Thus if you’re one who’s cautious about saving their keyboard out of any drink and dust then Black-Widow is just the right option for them.
