Although it must come as a shock to many that OnePlus 5T is going to be designed similar to Oppo R11S, it shouldn’t be as surprising owing to the fact that majority of the stakes in both the company is owned by the same Chinese technology manufacturer BKK Electronics.
When the OnePlus 5 was released earlier in 2017, many people noticed the uncanny resemblance between Oppo R11S and the phone, the only difference being in the fact that the former one was a tad bit thinner. Although there was a huge difference in the apps, configuration and performance of the two phones, not much effort had been put in to change the designs of the two and the trend is likely to be continued in the future.
The OnePlus 5T was supposed to be announced at a later period of this month but a leaked image clearly shows the huge similarity between it and Oppo R11S which was released earlier this week. So, if you are wondering how the OnePlus 5T is going to look, you can take a long hard look at the Oppo R11S and be done with.
OnePlus 5T is going to be launched with a 6 inches screen and will be supported by Android 7.0 powered by the likes of a 2.45GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory which is not likely to be expandable. The phone will have a 3450 mAh lithium ion battery which will be non-removable in nature. OnePlus 5T will have a primary camera which is 20 MP in size with a secondary camera which will be 16 MP for clicking selfies. OnePlus 5T is said to be a dual SIM phone which will support 4G and will have all the necessary connectivity options in place for the benefit of users.
Although we do hope that there will be a time when Oppo and OnePlus will not share the design DNA, we still have to be satisfied with similar kinds of looks for the time being.
