In Detroit, on Sept 22nd, 2017, manager of Detroit Tigers, Brad Ausmus spoke against the Minnesota Twins before a baseball game to the media. This year on Friday a move was announced by the General Manager, AI Avila that in the next season Tigers will not bring Ausmus back. Detroit Tigers will have to start all fresh with a new manager next season in 2018, and Ausmus won’t be there to manage Tigers. Nearly over four full seasons Ausmus was 312-325.

While the General was announcing this move, he said that “we didn’t win”. The organization and the club were dragged to a position where they felt the need to make some changes o thefield. He also stated that they had to start trading players and needed to change the roster. Then he threw a question and answered to start a fresh with a new beginning to a new road and change the whole previous thing.

After losing to Minnesota on Friday, Ausmus is running 312-326 in his fourth season. Al Central title was included in his tenure in the first season, but since then the Tigers couldn’t made the post season.

This year Tigers has been shedding pay rolls, trading stars Justin Upton, J.D. Martinez, JutinVerlander, and the Detroit are possessed no better in their division than to finish with a fourth-place.

Ausmus said that he got little emotional when AI told him that he doesn’t want him back as this four years they build up a friendship. But then he also said that he understands the situation and if he had come up with a new contract to Ausmus he may not have considered it. The organization needs new voice to start over, he stated.

Last year Detroit went 86-75, and this season it is 62-92.
